The hidden patterns from our Past Lives, be they karmic or generational, are carried forward from lifetime to lifetime until such time we explore, resolve, transform and heal them.
The past life regression technique called Deep Memory Process ® (DMP) does just that. It is a practical and highly effective therapy for the soul developed by the late Jungian Analyst and therapist Roger Woolger. It combines active imagination (Jung), bodywork (Reich) and psychodrama (Moreno) with shamanic / spirit journeying and an integration between lifetimes derived from the Buddist bardo wisdom of The Tibetan Book of the Dead. Introduced as a technique in 2002, DMP broke regression therapy out of the narrow confines of hypnotherapy and talk therapy giving it embodiment and lived experience through psychodrama and bodywork. Rooted in yoga concepts of the subtle bodies and shamanism, and drawing upon Tibetan teachings about death and transition through various bardo or intermediary states, DMP has been recognized as a major contribution to transpersonal psychotherapy.
It is different from a regular Past Life Regression where the person having the regression actually plays the past life character, feeling, thinking and physically feeling the past life vs. just watching it. In this way, the person is able to resolve and heal the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual self. There is no hypnosis involved.
It is a widely applicable therapy which has been successfully used in treating difficulties in:
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then the technique of Deep Memory Process can help you to explore, resolve, transform and heal whatever problem you want to work with.
During a DMP session, in a safe and caring environment I will help you, if appropriate to:
For an example of how this process works, please see the attached article I wrote about one of my past life regressions.
A typical DMP session is three hours;. This includes adequate time for integration and processing. Usually a series of sessions is recommended but occasionally radical changes can occur in only one or two sessions. Deep Memory Process can be used as an exclusive therapy for specific complaints and it also works well in conjunction with other ongoing therapies.
Please click on the videos below for a description of a DMP session, produced by Patricia Walsh, who apprenticed with Roger Woolger and is a DMP Trainer and Practitioner. Patricia and Roger were also both my teachers.
If you would like more information about a DMP session please book a 10 minute conversation with me.
Available in person only.
